Platform Based Website
Meadowlark Interiors wanted a clean, bold, and elegant new website to show off their work, and updated SEO to help clients connect with them. Platform based sites are affordable, and enable the client to make modifications any time.
Business Cards
Making business cards is a form of art. They need to be memorable, represent your brand and grab attention, all while remaining clean and easily readable.
Yard Signs
Well designed yard signs capture attention from up to 500 feet away with high contrast and large letters. They need to be loud without detracting visually from the surrounding scene.
Expansion Branding
Meadowlark Interiors decided to expand into retail, and wanted a new logo for their retail website!
Felix Machines
Named for the owner's pup, this lab battery fabrication equipment manufacturer needed a personalized brand, and platform based website to go with their amazing service and customizable machines.
Brand Colors
The branding refresh started with updated color swatches. Keeping existing colors with minor modifications maintained the Felix Machines feel, and a copper gradient added some bright highlight (insider detail: most battery anodes are made with copper!).
Old to New Refresh
The Felix Machines brand had been in place for years, so keeping the same identity and feel was important to prevent lost recognition.
Equipment Badge
A new solid metal adhesive badge helps create a quality feel for their customized products.
TS Media
TS Media provides high quality photography, videography and other advanced digital solutions for commercial and residential real estate. They needed updated branding to convey the gold standard of service they provide.
Polaris Battery Labs
Polaris specializes in rechargeable battery research and development. They needed a branding package that conveyed their expertise and professionalism in a highly technical field.
Finding a Font
Font selection is a first step in creating a unique brand. My clients wanted something professional, friendly, and timeless.
Symbology and Simplicity
My task was to create a logo that would convey the symbology of the guiding star Polaris, while setting the brand apart from other "Polaris" entities and brands in the world.
Color Swatches
After some high level color ways, my clients wanted a variety of blue tints and shades to choose from. Swatches helped them to visualize each color on more than just a logo.
Logo Kit +
A standard final deliverable logo kit includes the native Photoshop/Illustrator files, several different resolutions in JPEG and PNG formats, font files, and a PDF describing the logo and colors used.
Jazzy Gerling
With a focus on life coaching services, Jazzy Gerling needed a custom logo and branded website to help spread positivity and life guidance through the Rogue Valley! Scroll right to see how we got to the final logo you see here.
Create Personality With Font
We kicked things off by finding a font that matched the positive and personal feel of the brand. Visuals help the client find the exact right font to fit their style and energy.
Elements and Visual Flow
Based on the client's inspiration examples and guidelines I hit the ground running with a set of preliminary logos. These logos offer a variety of takes on the provided theme, and give my client examples of elements they can incorporate into the final version.
Color Ways
Once the design was narrowed down, I provided a board of different color options for the selected logo. This step helps to explore how the logo changes with different colors, and aids the client in choosing a final logo that best reflects their style.
Logo Kit +
Once we have an approved and finalized design, I assemble a folder with everything needed to implement the new logo. This folder includes: font files, original Illustrator and/or Photoshop files, color swatches, and a multitude of logo resolutions and file types to match the intended use.
Industrial Designers Society of America
The IDSA student chapter at the Art Institute of Portland needed a logo, it was my pleasure to design one as a member.
Starting From Many
As always, I started with several choices for the club to choose from and worked with them to narrow it down to a final design.
